StepAccessExcel
Create a Database Open Access.
Click "File"/"New"
Select "Blank Database"
Name it "PlantData"
Open Excel
Click "Save As"
Name your workbook "PlantData"
Create a table Open "PlantData"
Click "New"/"Table"
Select "In design mode"
Change the name "Sheet 1" to "Trend"
Create the fields Create a Field "DateStamp1" Format as Date/Time
Create a field "TimeStamp1" Format as Date/Time
Create a field "Pressure" Format as Number
Create a field "Temp" Format as Number
Save the table - Name it "Trend"
Do not create a "key"
Enter in Cell A1 : "DateStamp1"
Enter in Cell B1 : "TimeStamp1"
Enter in Cell C1 : "Pressure"
Enter in Cell D1 : "Temp"
Configure DSN Open "Control Panel"
Open "Administrative Tools"
Open "Data Sources - ODBC"
Under "User DSN" click "Add"
Select "Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)"
Click "Finish"
Fill Data source name "PlantData"
Click "Select"
Locate "PlantData.mdb" and select it
Click "Options"
Make sure "Read Only" is unchecked
Click "Advanced"
Type in a Login name: "Bush"
Type in a Password: "whitehouse"
Click "OK" to close Advanced Options
Click "OK" to close Microsoft Access Setup
Click "Apply" then "OK" to close ODBC
Close Control Panel
Open "Control Panel"
Open "Administrative Tools"
Open "Data Sources - ODBC"
Under "User DSN" select "Excel Files"
Click "Configure"
Click "Select Workbook"
Locate "PlantData.xls" and select it
Click "OK"
Click "Options"
Make sure "Read Only" is unchecked
Click "OK" to close Microsoft Excel Setup
Click "Apply" then "OK" to close ODBC
Close Control Panel
Prepare a Query Open NOTEPAD.EXE
Type in: s Save the file as LOGGER.TXT in your RTES32 working Folder (the one that contains RTES32.INI)
Fix RTES32.INI Open RTES32.INI
Add the following lines:
Prepare RTES32 Launch RTES32
Define the following Registers:

Define the following RULES:

Click "Database>
Click "Exit"
Click Yes to "Do you want to exit?"
Click Yes to "Do you want to save changes?"
Launch again RTES32
